About Rakkh in Ghamrota Village, Tehsil Palampur , Kangra, Dharamsala

Rakkh is a beautiful hillside resort, located in Himachal Pradesh, a mere 60 minutes drive from Dharamsala and a further 20 minutes from McLeod Ganj, seat of the Dalai Lama and the the beating heart of Tibetan Culture in India.

Our retreat features 15 cottages, and 2 interconnecting rooms in the main building, all decorated in understated hues, furnished with top of the range linens, beds and mattresses. All cottages feature sit out terraces, and 9 offer direct views of the surrounding hills, valleys and villages of the surrounding area. Gaze at the magestic Dhauladhar ranges from our roof terrace with 360 degree views.

Rakkh offers our guests guided mountain bike rides and walking trails - soft adventure activities for those looking to rediscover the Real Himachal, far removed from hectic, day to day metro existence.

A custom built climbing wall offers guests a more challenging physical pursuit, with climbing challenges suitable for all ages and experience.
