About Kheerganga in 10 kms from barshaini, Kullu
kartikey,son of shiva has also meditated here for 1000 years and today you can see the natural hot spring water coming outfrom the mountain. it is believed that earlier kheer(indian sweet dish made up of rice,milk and dryfruit) used to flow instead
of water but local people started fighting for it, then later monk parshuram turned that kheer into water in which today also
you can see milk cream and its flake in the water and hence the place got its name kheerganga.
