The Rama Varma Union Club, Kottayam one of the main oldest of its kind in kerala was established in 1881 to foster and develop the social instinct and espirit de corps among the members. The club was reached its present prestigious position over the years through the illustrious contributions and sacrifices made by its many members. The present strength of the club is 700. We have a well equipped and staffed kitchen serving Chinese and Continental dishes And we have a licenced and well-stocked bar. Card games like Rummy ,’56’,Bridge are popular among our members and are regularly played in our cards room. We hos every years an all India Bridge and an All Kerala ’56’ Tournament.
The club has 3 well maintained Tennis Courts and many National Tennis Tournaments were held on these Courts. We also have a permanent Tennis.
