About Hanna Bhavan Kottayam in Pullikuttyserry, Kottayam

Hanna Bhavan is a christian charitable institution founded by the sisters of the Bethany convent,Ranni-Perunadu,Pathanamthitta district,Kerala, of the Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church.Its mission is to take care and look after the aged and destitude women of all castes and creeds of our society.The present site,consistig of 65 cents of land with an ancestral house,was donated to the Bethany Convent in 1986 by the late Ms.Annamma Cherian,kandamundari Puthenpurayil,Pulikuttissery,who retired from the Ministry of Health as Nursing Advisor to the Govt.of India.Hanna Bhavan started functioning in 1992.
