The scope of ICRVICT-2014 is to provide an international forum for exchange of ideas among interested researchers, students, developers, and practitioners in the areas of computing, communications, and informatics. ICRVICT explores the social impact of new information and communication technologies (ICTs). It focus that they are best understood, not as heralding a substantially new `information society', but as significant technologies emerging in but inherently part of late modernity. It is suggested there are two types of technology, those changing and extending existing processes and those facilitating wholly new activities, and that recent innovations in information and communication technology are rather better construed as the former. Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) play a vital role in the individual and cooperative lives of citizens. In some environments, though a scarce commodity in many developing countries, it is expected to fuel the economic growth and service delivery to the populace. Information and Communication Technologies reports the new paradigms in this emerging field of technology and envisions the future developments in the frontier areas.
