Apostolic Evangelical Church of India is a Spiritual Protestant Church, shortly called as AECI. Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ says in Mark 16:15 “And He (Jesus) said unto them Go you into the world, preach the Gospel to every creature” and ordered his disciples in Matthew 28:19&20 “Go you therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you; and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.” According to the Holy Bible, Apostle Thomas, one of the 12 Apostles of Jesus Christ’s came from Jerusalem as the first missionary to India. And he brought Christianity to India and he preached the Gospel particularly in South India and forming number of congregations and built churches. In the first century he was murdered by an idol worship priest at nearest in Chennai. That was the past history of Indian Christianity.

In Hebrew 5:4 says “And no man takes this honor unto himself but he that is called of God, as was Aaron.” We honor and support all the missionaries around the world who dedicate their life for the growth of God’s kingdom and also for spreading the good news. In India we call them as the disciples of Jesus Christ and missionary descendant of Apostle Thomas. This Apostolic Evangelical Church of India (AECI) is formed by an Indian, who is a missionary descendant’s of Apostle Thomas.

Apostolic Evangelical Church of India (AECI) had holding two kinds of service activities. The first is “Spiritual Activities” and the second is “Social Activities. Jesus Christ the Son of God during His days on earth was concentrating on both the activities and He taught His Apostles and disciples to do so. Jesus Christ and His Apostles preached and practice the two services (spiritual and social) in their mission field. We the Apostolic Evangelical Church of India (AECI), the follower and disciple of Jesus Christ decided to follows these two services. We like to balance our missionary work by concentrating on both activities.

In Spiritual Activities we have Preaching Gospel, Evangelism to non-Christians, Church planting, Spiritual development of souls, Devotional activities, Prayer services, Sundays Schools, Youth ministries, Fellowships, Prayer Groups, Endowments etc.

In Social activities we promote all kinds of education and institutions, to liquidate ignorance and create all kinds of awareness, promote all kinds of training programs, promote all kinds of health schemes, to promote eco balance to promote scientific researches, to provide helps for needy people, services to affected natural calamities, to promote varieties of disseminates, promote media and protest against untouchables. The object is these activities are not for the particular religion, creed, community and caste but service to all mankind.

Apostolic Evangelical Church of India called as AECI was formed by Rev.Manuel Selvan, In 2010 Rev.Manuel Selvan received a Prophetical message from God to form a new church. “By whom we have received grace and apostleship, for obedience to the faith among all nations, for his name: Among whom are you also called Jesus Christ:” - Romans 1:5&6, “And the Lord looked upon him, and said, Go in this your might, and you shall save Israel from the hand of Midianites: have not I sent you?” – Judges 6:14. With God’s word confirmation, by the vision of God and the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Apostolic Evangelical Church of India spread Evangelism by sending God fearing, trained and dedicated missionaries to the unreached villages and unreached people. Through Good news the folks are receiving great deliverance from sin, sickness and all evil force. Many are coming to know the True Light. According to the scripture II Thessalonians 3:8 “Neither did we eat any man’s bread for nothing; but worked with labor and travail night and day, that we might not be a burden to any of you:” the AECI encourage all their missionaries to hold second job, no depending fully on mission and become a burden to anyone. They must earn for their bread and minister unto God. The church won’t encourage missionary who want to do Evangelism without any second incomes. On the other side the AECI also concentrating on all kind of charity.

Believe in God, the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth, and in Jesus Christ, His only Son of our Lord; who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, die and buried; the third day He rose from the dead; He ascended into heaven, and sittet at the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from thence He shall come to judge the quick and the dead. Believe in the Holy Spirit; the Holy Apostolic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins; the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen.

Apostolic Evangelical Church of India receives financial support from AECI congregation offerings, sponsors and well wishers. As of now AECI get sponsors only from Indian Christians, it also encourage the new sponsors to support them in monthly, bimonthly or yearly basis. Believers as individuals, Families, Prayer groups, Endowers, Fellowships, Institutions and Churches were support this ministry. AECI also accepts voluntary Contributions from Christian of any denominations, any nationality and any Nations. We invite your partnership in prayers and participation in contribution. AECI welcomes all kinds of contributions of Financial, Material and Social.
