Bagged the assignments for 03 cities namely Haldia, Aizawl and Imphal, out of which Imphal city has been selected by Govt. of India for funding under Fast Track Challenge for development of Smart Cities. Recently the organization has also been assigned the prestigious assignment for preparation of smart city proposal for the city of Patna. Area based development proposal for Imphal had Kangla Rejuvenation as the USP of the proposal, comprising of tourism infrastructure & ICT based interventions like IT based ticketing & feedback system, smart parking management, smart heritage walks with tourist designated pathways, conveyances with barrier free access etc. The Pan City proposal for Imphal comprised of smart solutions for urban mobility & solid waste management with the different unique applications. To ARKITECHNO’s credit, Imphal City Integrated Asset Management System-ICIAMS has been considered as an application unique among all the SCPs.

ARKITECHNO has carried out training as an integral part of the project requirement for many clients worldwide. During the last three years, ARKITECHNO has trained around 3500 persons and conducted over 20 training programs. The Training Division of ARKITECHNO is equipped with the latest state-of-the-art equipment and teaching aids. ARKITECHNO has recently carried out training as an integral part of the project for National Cyclone Risk Mitigation Project, Phase-I & Phase-II in Odisha and West Bengal.

ARKITECHNO has carried out studies for important Projects involving private sector participation. Studies and designs of these projects encompassed in their scope the studies on Build, Operate & Transfer basis, the determination of the toll rates fixation, study of acceptable levels of tolls, study of toll options, traffic projection for toll collection, sensitivity analysis, pricing strategic options, toll revenue models, financing options, risk analysis and preparation of bankable documents and final supervision at construction and implementation stage. All such studies were based on the policy of the concerned Government for Private Sector participation to be funded by international funding organizations.

ARKITECHNO has also successfully carried out strategic options studies; pre-feasibility and feasibility studies including traffic & transportation studies; preliminary engineering design, detailed engineering design; Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA), Social Impact Assessment (SIA), review of EIA, RAP and socio-economic studies, cost estimates and tender documents preparation of over 10,000 km of state and national highways, and few of expressways.

ARKITECHNO has carried out detailed design of about 500 Bridges / Structures which include River Bridges, Rail Over Bridges (ROBs), Flyovers / Interchanges, Vehicular/ Pedestrian Underpasses and Elevated Highways. These Structures involved all types of superstructures such as simply supported and continuous RCC solid slab, RCC voided slab, RCC T-beam slab, PSC voided slab, PSC girders and PSC box girders of different spans resting on open, pile and well foundation. All the design calculations have been carried out on a spread sheet based on computer programmes developed in-house by ARKITECHNO.

ARKITECHNO has got expertise and vast experience in the field of preparation of contract packages and implementation schedule, preparation of pre-qualification documents, providing assistance towards pre-qualification, preparation of tender documents, review and evaluation of pre-qualification submissions for Client’s approval, carrying out evaluation of tenders for the projects and assisting the Clients in negotiation with the tenderers leading to the award of work, including preparation and finalization of contract agreements with the contractors.
Many of the important road projects carried out by ARKITECHNO involved carrying out / reviewing Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA), Social Impact Assessment (SIA), Resettlement Action Plan (RAP) including HIV/AIDS/STI mitigation, socio-economic studies, institutional strengthening, capacity building, recommendation of policy framework, training and transfer of technology, etc.

ARKITECHNO has also successfully rendered construction supervision and project management of over 1354 lane km of important State Highways/National Highways/Expressways, including bridges, ancillary structures and other transportation structures. Out of which, ARKITECHNO now engaged as Authority Engineer for High-Level Bridge over River Gurupriya in the district of Malkangiri, for construction of a 900 metre-long bridge that would connect the Maoist-controlled zone to rest of the State. Most of the highway projects undertaken by the firm have been executed as per the FIDIC conditions of contract. While undertaking construction supervision of highway projects, our engineers have carried out the role and responsibilities as Engineer or Engineer’s Representative and exercised full quality control over construction materials and various phases of construction in accordance with Quality Assurance Programs, formulated for various projects. For the construction supervision projects undertaken by us in various countries, the modern equipment and the latest construction techniques have been used to achieve timely completion of Projects.
