Being an oncologist (Cancer Specialist) with hands on experience has made me realize that the diagnosis of cancer has very much increased due to the advanced technologies and availability to the common man as he has become more aware and cautious. It makes me feel very elated to see the increased number of patients who are coming for treatment at an early stage which is good for the patient as well as for me. I was awarded the Neal Joseph Fellowship by Association Of Radiation Oncologists of India and received a short training in Tata Memorial Hospital Mumbai.I also received an international fellowship by UICC and received training in University of Michigan Ann Arbor USA. I am presently a radiation oncologist working in this tertiary cancer center equipped with state of the art advanced technologies of Radiation Oncology. I am trained in the best and most advanced techniques of radiotherapy like 3D Conformal Radiotherapy (3DCRT), Intensity Modulated RT (IMRT), Image Guided RT (IGRT), Stereotactic Radiosurgery (SRS),Stereotactic Radiotherapy (SRT) ,Rapid Arc technique(VMAT) and Brachytherapy. What ever be the technologies but we can only help some one who wants to help himself and i want to use my blog as a platform to make people aware of the disease.
