History:

DE PAUL SCHOOL VINDHYANAGAR, the best and reputed school is situated in the power generating belt in the beautiful township of VSTPS (Vindhyachal Super Thermal Power station) Singrauli, Madhya Pradesh. The school came into existence in the year 1984 at the special request of the VSTPS management.

De Paul Senior Secondary School is a private unaided co-educational institution, under the San Thome Vincentian society, Rewa M P. De Paul is run by the catholic Fathers (Vincentian Congregation-Kerala) and sisters (The Handmaids of Mary- Orissa)

The school was inaugurated on 27-06-1984 by then GM, VSTPS Shri. J P Jaiswal. Rev Fr Paul Kottaram became the pioneering principal along with four teachers and fifty students on roll.

The school bears the name De PAUL which stands for Saint Vincent De Paul, the universal patron of all social and charitable works. He always stood for the noble cause of the poor, down trodden, and ostracized one of the society during the French revolution. Though he is no more physically with us, his vision, mission and charisma continues to lead us from ignorance of darkness to the knowledge of light.

De Paul is affiliated to CBSE Delhi under Ajmer Region in the year 1992 and the year 1993 the first batch appeared for Secondary exams. The school was upgraded to Senior Secondary in the year 1996 with science stream and the year 2001 with Commerce stream subsequently with well experienced staff. It always comes out with hundred percentage result.
Thus De Paul – a school where spiritual, cerebral, sporty ambiance can lift students spirits to no bound.

We have students and teachers from different states which adds further beauty to its feather. We are an eye opener to the coming educational scenario. NTPC management provides full support to achieve our objectives.

Students passed out from this institute are well placed in premier colleges of the country
and are doing really well in their respective fields.

The school emblem with the shape of the heart shows the warmth and love. It depicts the harmonious development of the child through moral, spiritual, and intellectual development. D, P and S at center stand for the short form of the school and there is bread at center means that
