About Philadelphia A.G.Church in By-Pass Road, Vidyadharapuram, Vijayawada

Our church was established through the Trinity God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit by Pastor. Jacob P.John. After receiving the call from God, he moved to Chiluvur, a small village in Guntur Dist, Andhra Pradesh. After few months he and his family came to Vijayawada and established the church. It was a humble beginning in the year 1979, on January 8. The first worship was held in a place with no roof and with six members in attendance. The worship was conducted in the shadow of a wall. He and his wife Mrs. Leelamma Jacob went through several hardships. As a result of their hardships, God has blessed them abundantly and the church is one of the largest churches in Vijayawada as well as APAG. About 8000 people gather together in worship every Sunday. His son Pastor. Charles Jacob is currently the active Pastor of Philadelphia A.G.Church and the role of Pastor. Jacob John is to guide him and also to pastor Krupanidhi A.G.Church a branch church in Vijayawada. Rev. Jacob John and Leelamma Jacob are blessed with three children, Charles Jacob, Philip Jacob and Sherly Jacob. Pastor Charles Jacob is serving the Lord with his wife Veena Charles and daughter Joyce Charles. Sherly Jacob is married to Abin C. Alex. Come, join us and be a part of our rescue mission.
