I take this opportunity to greet you in the most precious name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. I am happy to share about the ongoing ministries, future goals and plans for poor and needy children and for Evangelism.

Overview of Project:


This unique project is intended to promote social upliftment as a part of the JJGM activities. There are 850 villages in Vellore District and still we see children are being sent to work due to their family poverty. There are lots of poor children, destitute, orphans and semi orphans who are unable to support themselves.

JJGM have taken up this challenge to reach the children for Christ through education as most of the children are from non-Christian background. Our ultimate purpose of this activity is to reach out these children and their homes with the Gospel message and bring them to the fold of Christ and to help them to attain holistic development.

We have been serving the poor, orphan and destitute children past 16 years. To carry on this good work among the needy children we have further plans for future.



1. HOSTEL FOR POOR AND ORPHANS:

JEHOVAH JIREH HOUSE (JJH) – A Home for Children

By the immense grace of God and through our fervent prayers JJGM is able to provide the Physical, Educational, Emotional and Spiritual needs of 25 poor and orphan children. JJH has started in June, 2006.

We are running the orphanage with the limited financial support and need to reach the more children for Christ if dedicated children of God willingly come forward to support the ministry. We are unable to provide the needs of some more children who are seeking for the place in JEHOVAH JIREH HOUSE.

We have planned to educate at least fifty (50) children by providing their physical, educational and spiritual needs. 25 children will stay in the orphanage and other 25 children will stay at their residence and get support from JJGM due to the financial limitation.

Children aged 6 years will be admitted and they will have chance to continue their studies till 17 years of age i.e. to finish their secondary school.

Children will be provided hygienic and healthy food along with happy accommodation.

They will be taught about Jesus and will get guidance for spiritual growth.

2. EDUCATION FOR RESIDENT CHILDREN:

We also plan to start TUITION CENTRES in different villages for the children those who do not have place in the hostels.

This will help the children to be brilliant as they are being used for housekeeping work after their school.

Children with poor knowledge will be benefited in this program.

3. FAMILY PROJECT:

Through the Family Project we can help the poor children to continue their studies while they stay with their families.

25 children will be benefited through this project and they will be provided text books, note books, school bags, uniform dress and shoes in the beginning of the academic year.

JJGM will keep an eye on their educational, spiritual and physical development.

Children who have the disabled parents will be given special attention and they will be counseled along with their studies.

Overview of Activities:

SPIRITUAL

1.All the children will attend the church services and the Sunday school. They will be taught Christian songs and several Bible verses in the Sunday school.

2.Ten Days of Vacation Bible School will be conducted in the summer holidays and thy will be provided with New Testaments, Bible story books and visual aids for their own spiritual growth.

3.Opportunities will be provided to attend VBS and encourage them to take part in the Church meetings.


EDUCATIONAL

4.All the children will be provided text books, note books, school bags, uniform dress, shoes and other schooling materials.

5.All of them will get soaps, tooth paste, tooth brush and oil every month.

6.Every child will be given personal attention and their progress will be checked. If it is necessary, weak children will be given extra tuition.

PHYSICAL

7.Balanced and nutritious food/snacks will be given to all the children every day. Weak children are given extra care.

8.Children will be given health education quarterly; health screening twice a year and an annual medical checkup and it will be followed up.

9.Two sets of uniforms will be provided in the month of July and dress during Christmas seasons to all the children.

SOCIAL

10.Older children will visit the surrounding areas and help the streets to clean once in a month.
11.Every child will be encouraged to join scouts and NSS to serve the community.
12.The children will have opportunities for picnic, sports and games.

EVANGELISM

•As usual the Gospel Meetings will be conducted for three days as FESTIVAL OF FAITH every year in the month of May.
•To reach the young generation for Christ, we also conduct the YOUTH REVIVAL CAMP once in a year.
•Magazine ministry “STRENGTH IN CHRIST” will be continually published and it touches the lives of hundreds of people and gives strength in Christ.
•PRAYER CAMP will be conducted once in a year
•Summer Bible School will be conducted for Christian and non Christian children for 10 days to reveal the Love of Jesus Christ.
•JJGM is spreading the Gospel of Christ through serving the society, conducting camps for young generation and for women, conducting medical camps in the villages and most of all providing the Physical, Spiritual and Educational needs of poor and orphan children which is very close to the heart of our Lord Jesus Christ.
•JJGM has started a Worship Centre (Church ministry) in March 9, 2008 to bring the local people to the feet of Jesus. By God’s grace 15 adults and 30 children are worshiping along with our orphanage kids. We have been preaching the Gospel in 15 villages around the city and ready to plant 5 churches by the end of 2010. We are praying and preaching the Gospel among the unreached people of our society. So far we do not have any own building for our Orphanage and for the Worship Centre. Please remember us in your prayers and the Lord will provide the needs through your fervent prayers.
