About 64 Slice CT Scan Centre, Banaras Hindu University in , Varanasi

64 Slice CT Scan was installed in the premises of Sir Sunderlal Hospital under Public Private Partnership between Mastel Imaging & Research Centre Private Limited & Banaras Hindu University. This centre was inaugurated on 15th August 2008. More than three years have passed since the installation of machine and since then it is working continuously on a 24 x 7 model without any closure, functioning even on Sundays and National holidays. The patients don’t have to take booking date for investigation and the scanning is done on the same day, as the centre is capable of handling more than 125 patients per day. Till date, more than 75,000 patients have already been served at the economical rate under the direct supervision of senior consultants of the Department of Radio diagnosis & Imaging of the Institute of Medical Sciences and the report is also being prepared under the supervision of the consultants of this department. Out of this more than 750 patients have availed benefit of the unique investigation called NON-INVASIVE CORONARY ANGIOGRAPHY.
