About Malviya Child Welfare Circle in Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi

We are a group of compassionate & dedicated students of Banaras Hindu University, with a vision-To eradicate the hopelessness and illiteracy in rural areas and developing a bridge to elevate the poor children towards the main stream education."

We as students, spend minimum 3 - 4 years in Universities. Meanwhile with our 2-4 hours of time per week, we have developed a project as a Social Initiative to teach poor children is such areas everyday,every subject, of all standards (nursery to 12th) and preparing them for competitions and school/college entrance exams apart from their regular primary school education.
We have made a regular system to visit each family of the area to make the parents/guardians aware of their responsibilities towards the education of their children.
We also organise parents & teachers meetings.
Every sunday, we have incorporated the concept of बाल-संस्कारशाला, the divine initiative of All World Gayatri Parivar. Here we deal with the basic moral and personal development of children with the help of group activities like SUPW, motivational stories, videos, cultural plays, etc. This is to develop in them the basic cultural ethics and acquaint them with moral values practically.

With our vision and mission, we strongly believe that we can bring a beautiful change in the lives of such beautiful children waiting to be looked after dearly.
