Manav Seva Foundation was initiated by Mr. Asim Chandra in 2005 and the mission to empower the society started with the view that vocational education and opportunities must reach youth and women for bringing forth empowerment. Thus Manav Seva Foundation was established as a non-profit organisation under U/S 25 of Companies Act, 1956. Today the foundation is growing in its wide reach in functional and geographical areas. MSF started vocational training programmes for youth and students to give employed and underemployed youth an opportunity to gain employability. The foundation also started initiatives for health and social welfare activities related to youth, women.
Our efforts are constantly evolving in their technique, form and target objectives. Some of them are:
Providing vocational training for rural youth
Encouraging financially challenged students through scholarships
Providing medical assistance to children, youth and women
Propagating pro-environmental concepts like organic farming and tree plantation
Spreading knowledge of Yoga and Ayurveda
Encouraging sport activities
Ensuring welfare of senior citizens
