About NAIR Library in National Academy of Indian Railways, Infront Lalbaug, Vadodara

The Library at National academy of Indian Railways is rich with about 52,300 books. These include both Hindi and English books, on various subjected like transport, economics, rail transport, psychology, management, Law, finance, engineering, Computer science, literature etc. Various government publications and journals are subscribed. The library also subscribes to more than 125 periodicals on Railways, Management, Technology and General subjects. To ensure quality and variety, faculty members have been empowered to select & purchase the books for the library.

The Academy video library houses around 250 video cassettes, 125 audio cassettes and more than 800 titles of CD (including Book CD/VCD/DVD) on various management and technical subjects. Guest officers can view the vast collection in a centrally air-conditioned room called ‘Sudarshan.’

A separate e-Book section containing codes, manuals, railway related reading materials, Reports and important Govt. publications with latest updates are also available for the benefit of officers. The Library at National academy of Indian Railways is rich more than 7000 e-Books on various subjects.
