About MMPS Udaipur in The City Palace Complex, Udaipur

In July 1974, in The City Palace Complex, His Late Highness Maharana Bhagwat Singhji Mewar established Maharana Mewar Public School (MMPS). It was funded by the Vidyadan Trust.

Maharana Mewar Public School is an English medium co-educational senior secondary school affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi. The School provides high quality education to a cross-section of children, ensuring a well integrated development of the physical, educational, moral and social-fabric of its students. It gives due importance to physical education and provides a platform where the students are charting their careers in the field of engineering, medicine, art and management etc. Its mission is to create students with a global outlook who were Indian at heart, and who would subscribe to the highest human values the heart can subscribe to, which are the guiding values of the House of Mewar: self-respect, self-reliance, respect for mankind and service to the community; values that have guided the school’s functioning ever since.

Several facilities are there in the school for the students in order to empower them to develop their in born talents to overcome their problems on their own like Hostel facilities for boys, Guidance and Career Counselling, Dispensary, Financial Assistance, In House Skill Workshops etc.The School lays full emphasis on Co-curricular activities, NCC, Music & Dance, Competitions, House & Council, Trips & Excursions and Visit of Dignitaries. The School every year celebrates Founder's Day, Freshers' Day, Independence Day, Republic Day, Investiture Ceremony, Valedictory Function and Teachers' Day with great enthusiasm.
