founded by Rev. Roy. S. Appallose of South India. Established in 1985, the ministry began in very humble circumstances by founding of a Local Bible College and providing support for local village pastors. Brother Roy, as he prefers to be called, responded to God's vision to include various other works in his ministry.After attending Bible College in India, Brother Roy traveled the globe preaching and teaching in many countries. During these travels he added to his education by attending many foreign colleges. The practical experience he obtained during these travels has been invaluable to his knowledge of crossing cultures to communicate with other people groups. Consequently he speaks where ever he travels and is always received very well. He stills enjoys many rich relationships with friends he met during those early years. Although he enjoyed his travels, Brother Roy knew the call of God on his life was to return to India to establish a ministry. At first the work was limited to open air meetings and training pastors and teachers in local seminars. Today the ministry is involved in establishing Children’s Homes and Bible Schools. Throughout adding these other dimensions to the ministry, he has never left the basic call to preach Jesus to a world without hope.

Currently Brother Roy is the founder of India Gospel Mission and the Chairman of the Board of Directors for India Gospel Foundation. His duties include both leading the work in South India and helping to establish the new frontier missions. He has served faithfully for over 20 years in leadership to the ministry. In the last 17 of these years he and his wife Kezia have worked alongside each other to continue this call as a team. Kezia is both the principal of Harvest Medium School and Worship Leader in the Church. She is also involved in special women’s ministries and is sought after as a women’s conference speaker. Roy and Kezia live in the State of Kerala in the city of Trivandrum and have two lovely children: Jennifer age 16 and Michael age 15.
