About Open House in Near Dhanya Remya Theatre, Ayurveda College, Trivandrum

The Open House Restaurant, established by S Vijayakrishnan Pillai, first began serving your taste buds way back in 1983 as a unique Chinese food eatout, which was unfamiliar to the people of Thiruvananthapuram. Due to our consistent efforts in maintaining professionalism in service and standards, the TRADE MARK authority has endowed us with the golden label of ‘HOME KITCHEN FOR TRIVANDRUM CITY’.

The restaurant has a spread of 45 seats divided into 2 A/C dining sections. Open House has long been known for our takeaway counter and we maintain a speedy and prompt parcel service area for which, phone orders can be placed in advance. Open House is seldom considered as a restaurant. It is more treated as a kitchen-away- from-kitchen by our long and strong customers. We managed to revolutionize the concept of Chilly Chicken, which is our highlight recipe, and the dish is parceled to over 2 Gulf and other neighboring countries. This in itself is a mark of our reputation in the industry.

The restaurant is located at Kunnumpuram, adjacent to MG Road, Trivandrum. You can drive into the Dhanya Remya Theater Road and ask anyone for directions, and finding us would be as easy as falling off a log. We run our kitchen every day from 11:30 PM to 3:00 PM, and from 4:30 PM to 10:30 PM.
