Dr.C.John Panicker had earlier worked as ENT Consultant in different Government Hospitals in Kerala including General Hospital, Trivandrum till 1995. He was the Chief ENT Consultant in G.G. Hospital, Trivandrum for few years. Presently he is the Chief ENT Consultant in Santhwana Hospital and has more than 28 years of experience in the filed. Considering his meritorious services in the field, Government of Kerala had recognized him as “ the Best Doctor “ for the year 2008. He has undergone advanced training in Cochlear Implant in Australia and Germany.
The hospital is one of the best equipped in ENT specialty in the whole of Kerala with advanced operating microscopes, diode laser, Microdebrider, Flex & rigid endoscopes , powered instruments etc to name a few. This is supported by the advanced monitoring and anesthesia equipments and I C U facilities.
Considering the facilities available and experience of ENT consultants in the hospital, the well known pioneers of endoscopes Karl Storz Germany has recognized Santhwana Hospital as a training center for ENT surgeons in Kerala. Already nearly 20 E N T doctors completed the training.
