In Kerala, NABARD's Regional Office is situated in the State Capital, Thiruvananthapuram on Punnen Road in close proximity to the State Secretariat. The Regional Office is headed by the Chief General Manager. Kerala Regional Office operates through the District Development Managers (DDMs) in each of the 14 districts, with 9 of them resident in the concerned district, 2 districts tagged to neighbouring DDMs and the interests of the remaining 3 districts attended to by designated officers directly from the Regional Office. NABARD's subsidiary, NABCONS Ltd. attached to the Regional Office, offers consultancy assignments to the State Government/ Quasi Government and other institutions. A Project Guidance Cell has been constituted in the RO, to venture into identification of new areas of business/ sunrise projects, projects under infrastructure, irrigation of State Government and quasi government agencies and is also showcasing new projects to increase the scope of business of the Regional Office.
