About Lil Xtra's Crew in , Trivandrum

Lil Xtra's, is a terpsichorean innovation by a group of young performers who shoot for exploring new possibilities in the creative world of dance. They tend to explore and showcase dance moves in all styles possible except the classicals. As a rare exception, their aim is not to make a livelihood out of it, but make a livelihood for it. Consequently, they gear up to shell out anything, be it caliber, currency or clock. In this era, where dance proves to be everyone’s way to slacken up, Lil Xtra's sets out to do just that by their constructive ability.
Under this set, each and every performer is sized up, lauded for every plus and propelled to make up with every minus. One of their best attribute which makes them distinguishable is that “…every performer here is viewed with the same eye. No extra thumps-up or pat in the back for the able ones and totally voiding the incapables. Every person is boosted to try the high gear if he has the lust for dance and some basic knowledge that comes out of it.” says the choreographer of the LX’s team. It may be this quality that makes each member of the team work with great amount of spirit and grace, for them, fear of mistakes is itself the fear of oneself.
For once and for all, if at least for dance their lives have been sewed up together, which proves to be one of their strengths. “We don’t believe that the world is under our feet…what we choose to believe is that it will tap its feet to our rhythm to pulverize ….both what is inside and outside.” is what they have to say in chorus.
