Our Hospital has started in the year 1977 under Hospitality for the Needy Society. It is a Charitable and non profitable organization (Reg.11/1977) which is located center of the town and well known hospital in this area. The society has established a home for the Aged and giving care for the destitute irrespective of caste, creed and religion.
In order to give proper treatment for the Aged a clinic was constructed. In due course people started coming for the treatment and it was gradually extended to 50 bedded General Hospital with all the wards. At present the Hospital is headed by we deliver our services round the clock with Experienced Doctors, Qualified Nurses and Paramedical Staff. Now our hospital is 150 bedded with Multi specialty facilities like General surgery, ENT, Ortho, Ophthalmology, Dermatology, Dental, Gynecology, Urology, Neurology, Cardiology, Nephrology and General Medicine. Every day we are treating nearly 150 to 200 patients in OP . Our hospital mainly for middle class and below poverty line people those who are seeking medical help in this area. Our hospital is one of the first hospitals in Tiruvannamalai District to come under Tamil Nadu Chief Minister’s Comprehensive Health Insurance scheme. Under the scheme we are doing surgery and dialysis. We already empanelled Star Health General Insurance , I.C.C.I Lombard For Weavers ,I.C.C.I Prudential, United India Insurance & FHPL-TPA service.
We are giving one week free medicines for all diabetic patients and free food for in-patients.

We also Work for Tuberculosis Control Programme since 1998.We got the sanction for DMC & DOT RNTCP in November 2010 By the TB Society of Tiruvannamalai District. Our hospital works as a referral centre for TB Patient.

We have few training courses approved by the Government :

•Diploma in General Nursing & Midwifery course (3 ½ Year)
•Ward Assistant Training Course (1 Year) – started in the year 2005 and
conducted up to the year 2007.

In our hospital we are having well equipped Operation Theater and we are doing various surgeries like general, ortho, ENT and Uro. We also having Centralized Oxygen and Suction unit (ICU, Post Operative ward and Operation theater)
