Eye Microsurgery and laser centre was started as a small clinic by Dr. Verghese Joseph and Dr. Amita Verghese in the year 1990, with a view to provide Comprehensive Eye Care to the people of central Travancore. The centre has grown and progressed to the present status due to their honest and sincere efforts in providing quality services to all their patients irrespective of their economic status. Satisfied patients have been our constant, silent supporters, who have contributed to the growth of this centre in a big way.

Eye Microsurgery & Laser Centre is an ISO 9001-2008 certified Super Specialty Eye Hospital.
The Hospital is built in about 7000 sq.ft. of space with a spacious air conditioned waiting area to seat 200 patients and relatives and with other amenities. It has a large parking area to accommodate about 50 cars.

At our centre we aim to provide ‘Comprehensive Eye Care’ to one and all irrespective of their socioeconomic status. It is ideally located in the heart of Tiruvalla town at the International Tourist Complex, on the Pushpagiri road which is almost a 10 minutes’ walk from the bus stand and 20 minutes walk from the railway station.
