About Tirunelveli Branch of SIRC

The Tirunelveli Branch of SIRC was formed with effect from 15th September 1980 by a Notification No. 28-RC(2)/13/80 dated 26th September 1980. The Tirunelveli Branch of SICASA was formed with effect from 20th April 2011 vide Announcement of ICAI dated 22nd July 2011

The Branch received the Commendation Award from SIRC for its performance in the year 1997 under the category of Less than 500 Members

Though the smallest branch of SIRC during the year 1986, Tirunelveli was the pioneer in conducting the Model Test when it organized a model test for students of Intermediate
in the month of October 1986.

The Tirunelveli Branch has 91 members as on 1st April 2013.

The Branch is conducting ITT and Orientation Programme for the CA Students since 2008.

The Branch Building is being inaugurated on 1st December 2013 by the Hon’ble President of ICAI CA. Subodh Kumar Agrawal.

The 1st SICASA DAY of SIRC is inaugurated in our branch by our beloved President of ICAI CA. Subodh Kumar Agrawal on 1st December 2013.
