About RTRD Foundation in 13,6th cross, Sundar Nagar, Tiruchirappalli

The RTRD Foundation (Rural Training, Research and Development Foundation) is an independent, non-profit, non-governmental organization. It was established in 2004 by a group of, academicians, scientists, technologists, research experts and social activists. Realizing the need for improving the socio-economic and health status of disadvantaged groups in rural area. The foundation is developing innovative strategies related to education, formal and informal- training, income generation, environment, reproductive and child health, control of population growth, creation of awareness in the community etc., with community participation and in co-ordination with Government and other non-Government agencies.
