About Fathima Matha Church, Kazhakuttom in Fathima MathaChurch, Kazhakuttom P.O,, Thiruvananthapuram

Our first church was built in 1956 which was blessed by Rt. Rev.Dr. Vincent Dereira OCD, Bishop of Trivandrum. During the year of 1990 the parish members decided to purchase 1 acre land near ‘Yesumala kurushadi’ and construct a new church. It was done through the leadership of parish priest late. Rev. Fr. Raymond Joy. The new church was blessed by His Grace Most Rev.Dr.Soosa Pakiam. M Bishop of Trivandrum on 1993 October 26. Since then the parishioners has grown in number. There are around 650 parishioners now and they are divided into 7 BCC units. These families reside in around 6 Km of the parish church.
Fathima Matha Church Kazhakuttom is situated about 3.5 K.M. away from Kazhakuttom. The Parish is boundered by Menamkulam, Arattuvazhi Road,Poundukadavu and the river Parvathy Puthanar. This church comes under Puthukurichy forane,Trivandrum Arch Diocese
The feast of St. Joseph is celebrated as the main feast of the parish in 19th of March. Fathima Matha feast is celebrated in the month of October
