SNEHITA WOMEN’S HEALTH FOUNDATION is a charitable trust which focuses on health issues of women. The foundation has a well maintained clinic offering free consultation and referral services for women, located near Government Medical College Trivandrum. It started functioning on the 25th of December 2015. We believe that the clinic is unique in the sense that it caters to the innermost need of every woman; to have a pleasant lady doctor who patiently listens to your problems in privacy and guides you properly.Any lady can take an appointment over a phone call. All ladies attending the clinic would be given enough time to discuss their problems and would have a physical examination including clinical breast examination. Those ladies who need further examination or investigations would be guided to experts who would do the needful. Cancer education and motivating women to undergo regular screening is the main aim of SNEHITA. A locally validated breast cancer risk assessment tool is also made available for risk assessment at SNEHITA. Training of community volunteers for early detection of cancer is the other major aim of SNEHITA. SNEHITA also offers training in cancer screening and research methodology to Post graduate Medical Students. SNEHITA has so far assembled a cohort of 10242 ladies after conducting baseline Clinical Breast examination and Mammograms wherever necessary. These ladies are kept under regular follow up at SNEHITA Clinic.

“Snehita”, as the name implies, would be a friend to all women. The logo Pink Tulip is a symbol of caring, attachment and good wishes. Pink flowers express happiness and confidence.
