The aims and the objectives of "Keleeravam" are listed hereunder.
as under:
a) To work for promoting Kathakali as our iconic performing classical art form, in
and out of Kerala to the various wedges of the society irrespective of caste,
sex, creed and religion.
b) To work to generate more stages for Kathakali, since it is a performing art,
aiming the ample scope for the independent professional artists and helping
them to improve living standards.
c) To enter, establish, promote and maintain various Micro and Macro projects to
enhance the promotion of Kathakali
d) To generate more audience for Kathakali, projects shall be conducted like
lectures and demonstrations for young students (in schools, colleges etc),
social gatherings, shopping malls, housing colonies etc.
e) To work for the welfare of the artists and supporting artists, shall introduce
social welfare schemes and relevant projects.
f) To promote & recognize outstanding artists, some awards & scholarships shall
be introduced.
g) To conduct programs or promotional activities in association with various
organized or unorganized socio-cultural groups in different parts of the country
and abroad.
h) To do all necessary things meant for the promotion of the cause of the society,
for achieving the aims and objectives mentioned above.
