"Sahyadri forest ecolodge” is founded by Shantimon, who is Social Entrepreneurs from Sahyadri nature and adventure club (Chithara). Firstly note that it is not a business for me . "Sahyadri forest ecolodge”promotes nature and culture sensitive eco-tourism. We work in close partnership with local community to strengthen village economy and encourage people’s participation in nature conservation.

"Sahyadri forest ecolodge" promotes nature and culture sensitive ecotourism to provide additional source of livelihood for local communities and encourage their participation in nature conservation. "Sahyadri forest ecolodge" is a network of nature study centers. Situated on the slopes of the western ghats in kollam districts in kerala (south india). Our main centre is rajathottam at Aryankavu . Our main centre is launched at in a luscious rain forest, below the senthuruniy wildlife sanctuary ‘s evergreen forests at Arynkavu forest range in kollam forest division, this place is known as RAJATHOTTAM- "The Very Great One". Approximately 90 km from Trivandrum and quilon (both are equal). 20 km from tenkasi railway station. Host to a unique habitat for over 300 Bird species including 34 species of Raptors and 5 Primates, amongst them the very rare lion tiled maquarel . "Sahyadri forest ecolodge" will give you a taste at south Indian rain forest at its very best!

The lovely setting of the camp soon soothes away stress while the peace and quiet of unspoiled nature becomes a way of life. Country-style cooking enhances the intimate atmosphere experienced at Forest Camp.

As the concept at "Sahyadri forest eco lodge" is based on the environment and nature, we do not have a swimming pool(u can swim in natural streams here), television, radios.
There is however a well stocked shop, filling station and bottle store nearby at shencottah . "Sahyadri forest ecolodge" is ideally situated for day excursions to the senthurini wildlife sanctury -http://www.thenmalaecotourism.com/ecotourism.html -(Thenmala ± 20kms) Palaruvi water falls,(10km )Tropical Bottanical garden, Palode(Asia’s2nd garden -20kms . courtallam is 30 km .( Courtallam (Tamil: குற்றாலம்) or Kutralam, Spa of South India, is a panchayat town situated at a mean elevation of 160 m (520 ft) on the Western Ghats in Tirunelveli District of Tamil Nadu, India. )

THIS IS A PROJECT OF 5LAKHS. 3 LAKH IS MY OWN. BALANCE IS COLLECTED FROM MY NATURE LOVING FRIENDS RS10000/- EACH AS A LOAN GUARANTY WILL GIVEN IN BOND PAPER. DO NOT COLLECT ABOVE 2. LAKHS,THAT MEANS ONE MAN GIVE 20000/- ,I COLLECT THE BALANCE ONLY. ALL THE DETAILS ABOUT CASH COLLECTION IS COMMUNICATED TO ALL MEMBERS.THIS GIVE WE DONT COLLECT ABOVE2LAKHS . WE LIMITED TO THIS AMOUNT BECAUSE OF THE OUR MONEY GIVEN BACK CAPACITY.
OUR ARCHITECT IS HABITATE TRIVANDRUM FOR LOW COST BUILDING.
Our offer is the accommodation given to all members with family or friends. we split the amount 10000/-as a unit (not share)and give accommodation for 5 days . if u give 20000/-it may 10 days. Not in continuous as u like. two bed room and a hall will provided for staying. Local home made food will arranged or self cooking facilities are there (cooking gas laundry and cleaning will chargeable.).Jungle safary and trekking will arranged if you wanted.
