Shree Vidyadhiraja Group of Institutions, Imparting cultural values for three Decades, with around 22 institutions under its fold has been progressing into the future imparting cultural values to the younger generation through its wide network of schools and colleges. Shree Vidyadhiraja Vidya Mandir (SVVM), Vellayambalam in Thiruvananthapuram was the first school started under the Shree Vidyadhiraja Group in 1975 with less than 10 students. Now around 22 schools and around 6000 students study in various SV Group Schools. There are five wings separately- Nursery Wing, Lower Primary Wing , Upper Primary Wing ,High School Wing and Higher Secondary Wings all having principals and Heads.

About our Founder/Chairman

Sri Ramachandran Nair I.A.S, Former Chief Secretary to Government of Kerala,is the founder of SV Group and the great network of institutions under it consisting of around 16 schools and 5 colleges,. Started in 1971 in the name of Shree Chattambi Swamikal, the great saint with an intention to impart religious values and keep our great culture intact, it was in 1975 that the Shree Vidyadhiraja Vidya Samajam was formed. The intention of starting the school was to impart cultural values to the younger generation and teach them the right moral values",
Ramachandran Nair was a retired I.A.S. official who served the government in various plum posts like district collector, chief secretary etc.
Describing the financial machinery of the Vidyadhiraja Group of institutions, The fund for the school functioning is managed by four trusts - Shree Vidyadhiraja Sabha, Shree Vidyadhiraja Vidya Samajam, National Educational Society and the Ettumanoor Educational Society. The fees for the teachers and the staff of the school are managed from the nominal fees given by students and the funds that are collected by the four trusts.
Speaking on the positive points of the school, the best part of the school is the kind of good culture and values that is imparted to the students.
The Shree Vidyadhiraja School is proud to have produced many eminent personalities, which included Ramaprakash, a renowned Astrophysicist, noted Malayalam Film actor Byju, Rudra Prathap, a noted actor in TV serials etc. All those who are associated with SV Group said one thing in unison and it is that, the school has been able to teach all the students who studied there to live as good individuals and engrained them with good culture and values, which is said to be the biggest plus point of the school.

Note on Sri Ramachandran Nair I.A.S, Founder SVS
A native of Tirunakkara, in the Kottayam District, he did his schooling at Poonjar in the Meenachil Thaluk and completed B.Sc Zoology at Arts College. He also took M.A in English literature from the University College, Thiruvananthapuram. He was a lecturer at Mar Ivanios College for around two and a half years and also at the Arts College and Government Victoria College before he got I.A.S and started service under the Indian government. The retired senior IAS officer also has flair in writing and has written many poems and even recorded many of his poems as audio cassettes. His collection of poems 'Mukhthakamala' had won him Mooloor Prize. He had also written a few Aattakadhas and on classical music. He had won many awards like Samskritha Mithram award given by the Government of India, Vedhashree award, Puthankaavu Mathan award, M.K.K.Nair award etc. His family comprises of his wife Smt Lakshmi Ramachandran and three children. His eldest son is an Economist, his second son is working as doctor and his daughter is married to an Ophthalmologist, a relative of Former Chief Minister E.K.Nayanar.
