Animal Angels Foundation is a registered, non-profit organization started in 2003 working in the field of Animal Assisted Therapy. It is the first organization in India to promote awareness about the amazing mutual benefits of animal-human relations and the miraculous healing effects of animals on humans. We are a team of therapists from various mental/medical health professions and volunteers from various other fields. We train family pets to be ‘Therapy Animals’ who work with us as our co-therapists or volunteer with their owners on visiting various people in need. We all share a common belief of ‘Animals for Human Wellness’

Our aim is to spread the awareness about Animal Assisted Therapy and to reach out to as many people in need of love and care. We work in the field of mental health, education. Through our programs we reach out to a wide section of beneficiaries such as children, youth, specially challenged, people in distress, elderly. We strongly believe that the disadvantaged need opportunities, not charity and our focus is to enhance the quality of lives of the most vulnerable people of our society though interaction with the Therapy Animals.
