In 1977, VIP ENGINEERS started its voyage by collaborating with CORD ENGINEERING. Being one of the pioneers in the fabrication industry we undertook the engineering work and successfully delivered them on time. The work includes complete fabrication varying from a range of equipment comprising reactors, autoclaves, heat exchangers, storage tanks etc. for a chemical plant in the small scale sector.

Eventually the next step was to undertake a sub-contract from KEMING TOOL CO. for manufacturing Bomb shells (without the explosive filling) for DRDL (a government organization under the Defense Ministry for the Air Force Wing) .The order for 800 such bomb shells was executed under this sub-contract.

Few years later, Wallace Flour Mills entrusted the fabrication of hoppers, conveyors, ducting, pipeline & other related fabrication based on the design of their foreign collaborators. This was followed by successful execution of a turn key project for a bleaching powder plant. This project was through INVESTA TECHNICAL SERVICES PVT, LTD.

After being a registered proprietary firm in1986, VIP Engineers entered into a tie -up with QUARTET THERMAL ENGINEERING PVT. LTD which is one of the leading consultants & designer of Heat Treatment Plants, Industrial Heating/Melting & Coating Systems. The fabrication of their entire equipments like Carburizing Plant, Nitriding Plant, Shekar Hurth Furnaces Plants, Sealed Quench Furnaces, and Continuous Tempering Furnaces including their blowers/ID fans is entrusted to us for fabrication till date.

In 1989, a similar tie-up was made with M/S. MCCLELLAND ENGINEERS PVT. LTD which is a front runner in design of Incinerator Systems for Industrial Effluent Disposal, Bio Medical Waste, Toxic Chemical Waste, Aqueous Waste & Municipal Solid Waste etc. The complete fabrication of the equipment including Primary & secondary Combusting Chambers, Spray Dryers, Scrubbers & Quenchers, Venturi, Ductings, Pipelines, Recuperator & Chimneys etc, all the entire system is entrusted to us for fabrication till date.

Thus M/S.VIP Engineers has now become expertise in the fabrication of such equipment. To meet the fabrication demands of the above collaborators, VIP Engineers formed a conglomerate with two other firms namely M/S. DEEP INDUSTRIES & M/S. HAWAI INDUSTRIES.

Each unit is housed in separate locations with its infrastructure and shed admeasuring 1000 sq.mtrs. All units are located in Thane nearby. MR. HEMANT PATIL & Mr.VASUDEV PATIL takes the opportunity to nourish his personal experience spanning three decades in this fabrication field by bearing the responsibilities of each unit.

These units undertake fabrication of carbon steel & stainless steel equipment. For facility most of the C.S fabrication is done at M/S VIP Engineers Compound while S.S fabrication is done at M/S. Deep Industries & furnace assemblies at M/S.Hawai Industries. VIP Engineers has executed jobs regularly for M/S.BALMER LAWRIE & CO. which included a pilot plant for some refineries in the past.

VIP Engineers are executing jobs regularly for M/S.VOLTAS LTD, M/S.DALAL ENGINEERING PVT.LTD & M/S. POLYPLAST CHEMI PLANTS (I) PVT. LTD. which includes different sizes of Pressure Vessels, Process Tanks & their Ducting.

Incinerator systems designed by M/s. McClelland Engineers Pvt. Ltd. has been fabricated by us and supplied to Indian Oil Refineries, Mathura, M/S.NARMADA CHEMATUR PETROCHEMICALS LTD., BHARUCH, TISCO LTD, RANBAXY LABORATORIES LTD, WOCKHARDT LTD., DR. REDDY’S LABORATORIES LTD., & many more around 212 are our prestigious end customers. In order to ensure quality workmanship, in-house inspection has been entrusted on retainer basis to a consultant experienced in the field. This is in addition to Shop Floor Supervision and direct overseeing by Mr.Patil himself.

Also in that process of manufacturing clients had involved Third Party Inspection agencies like B. Methalia, Bureau Veritas, ThyssenKrupp, MN Dastur co., Chempro Inspections, Mumbai, Rites Ltd., Mecon Ltd. & Voltas Qc. for proper inspections of their jobs which were manufactured in our factory in Wagle Estate, Thane.
