School of Information and Instrumentation Technology [SIIT] is a flagship institution in Kerala imparting Training in Instrumentation and Industrial Automation. SIIT was established in 1998 at Thalayolaparambu in Kottayam District, Kerala by Mr.Shaji Joseph an Instrumentation Professional as the First institute in Kerala which provides training in Instrumentation Technology. SIIT is the premier institution with a vision and mission to make its students professionally superior and ethically strong global man power in Instrumentation & Industrial Automation arena. In the Lab, SIIT uses only the Real-Time Instruments and Operational Working Mini Plant for practical sections, unlike any other institutions. Ltd. etc.

Scope of Instrumentation

Instrumentation Technology is one of the most promising areas for employment in the present and future age of modern technology labs and industries. Even though, many government owned institutions fail to provide facilities for quality practical training in Instrumentation, SIIT is able to give the best training with the help of sophisticated expensive ultramodern Lab and well experienced faculties who have exposure to state-of-the art instrumentation facilities of Indian and Foreign companies.

SIIT has tie-up with the International Assessment and Certification institute: City & Guilds Institute of London. Therefore our students can obtain International Certificates and that helps them to get jobs in International Standard in all aspects in International Companies all over the world.

City and Guild Institute of London is an organisation of 130 years of experience, founded in 1878 by 16 Livery Companies and the Corporation of the City of London and provided first certificates in 1879 in Cotton Manufacture. King Edward VII was the first President. Duke of Edinburgh was President from 1951-2011and now Her Royal Highness Princess Anne is the current President.
