The Clinic enhances the mental health and well-being of children and youth aged 0-25 years, and their caregivers. Our aim is to provide a holistic and comprehensive management approach to children and their family. Most children tend to have a combination of problems: developmental, neurological, academic and emotional. Hence it is imperative that early specialized evaluation and treatment in a timely manner is important.

Our team is specialized in screening, diagnosing and managing common psychological difficulties in this age group.

The CHILD GUIDANCE CLINIC team encourages children and their parents /teachers to seek help for learning difficulties, emotional or behavior problems without fear or stigma. The need of the hour is for schools to have access to an authentic resource center with various specialists, where they can confidently seek an expert opinion about the child’s performance in order to help him/her.

THE TEAM:
Dr. SAJEEV KUMAR P.B, who did MBBS from Thrissur Govt. Medical College and got training in MD in Psychiatry from India’s premier institute-National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences (NIMHANS), Bangalore. He has special interest and expertise in the arena of child and adolescent mental health.

Ms. Lavanya who did M.Phill in Clinical Psychology from NIMHANS, Bangalore is experienced in dealing mental health issues in children and adolescents. She is an expert in psychological testing (IQ, LD, Personality assessments, Diagnostic psychometry etc), cognitive and behavioral interventions, family/parental counseling etc.
In liaison with all relevant specialists in the field- Pediatrician, Neurologist, Neurosurgeon, Endocrinologist, ENT specialist etc.
