Importance of Swarna bhasma:-

In the text of Rasendra Chudamani the action of swarna bhasmais mentioned as vyadhi nirmoolana karakam (eradicates the diseases) and Bhavivyadhi pratibhandhakatvam (prevents the forthcoming diseases) which means immunity.

Animal studies on swarna bhasma revealed its immunostimulant, analgesic, antidepressant actions.

It being Apasmarahara can be given to children of cerebral palsy and autism and many other diseases related to development of CNS.

Swarna bhasma is attributed with the actions like nourisher, aphrodisiac, antidote to poison, cardiotonic, increases complexion, increases decesive power, intelligence and memory, cures tuberculosis, increases strength, treats insanity and epilepsy.
