Welcome to the village Karnpur.A village under supaul Distt.This village is famous for its Krisna-janmastmi Puja.Parliament member Chanderkishore pathak and state legislative leader Lahatan choudhary belong to this village.
Karnpur is a progressive village in supaul district. It has a population of around 6000. However, over 30% of the population has now moved out to various metro and small cities in India & Nepal. It has been Supper power village since 1940, where u can find IITs, MBAs, MCAs, Civil Servant, Bank employ, Journalist, army personnel and social worker. Over 99% of the population is Hindu. Main occupation of villagers is agriculture.Karnpur is under Supaul Assembly and saharsha Parliamentary. It is in karnpur Panchayat and under supaul block.
In this village has one high school (karnpur High School) one middle school and one primary school and more than two convent English medium school. The main market of this village is supaul bazaar.
