A cushioned verandah looks out over the lake – the houseboy will serve tea as the sun sets over the mountains peaks and skikaras paddle slowly by, offering fresh fruit, flowers and handicrafts for sale. And expansive sun deck on top of the houseboat is perfect for sitting in the warm sunshine. Western breakfast and choice of authentic Kashmiri or Western lunches and dinners are served by the houseboy.
