About Green Valley Educational Institute in Rangpora, Illahi Bagh, Srinagar

Green Valley Educational Institute is the dream of a few public spirited persons imbued with a burning desire to bring about a quick transformation in the educational scenario of the Kashmir Society, keeping intact, it's age-old and time-tested value structure. The prime mover was of course, the young and dynamic workaholic, Mr. M.Y. Wani. They had a dream to setup an educational institution, which would be second to none and that would set up the highest standards of educational excellence, an institution which would churn out boys and girls fully equipped with the latest tools and skills to fit in well, in the fast changing society and prove precious assets and useful citizens with a strong and solid moral foundation. These founding fathers aimed to inculcate, stimulate and strengthen self confidence, a sense of responsibility, a spirit of selfless service based on a keen social awareness and fellow-feeling, among those who would cross the Green Valley threshold. They also desire to sensitize the younger generations about the environment and sharpen eco-friendliness in them to stem the rot that is setting in our & quot; paradise on earth" in the form of environmental degradation. They wanted to raise a new generation that would hugely contribute in preserving our rich natural heritage- our thick forest cover, our crystal clear water bodies, our lush green meadows and pastures and our clean surroundings. The school will do anything possible to keep our beautiful motherland free from every type of pollution. environmental, social and moral and convert the Kashmir society into a socially, educationally and moral traditions.
