GEOBASS consultancy has come into force not only for the economic and financial development of Assam but with a vision to employ the skilled young generation of the region. We aim at harnessing the natural potential of the region by engaging our educated, experienced and skilled personnel in the holistic development of the region. The problem of growing unemployment continued to a matter of great concern for Assam. In spite of having huge natural resources, well educated enthusiastic youths as well as skilled personnel, the State’s economy still largely remains backward and underdeveloped.
In Assam the problem of unemployment has further been accentuated with the joining of increasing number of educated job seekers, including technical and professional personnel in the rank of unemployment from year to year due to lack of modernized technology, industries & subsequent jobs.
GEOBASS is a collective approach not only to generate employment in the various sectors of the economy but also to make Assam as well as north east a independent region with all necessary technological up gradation, as the successful and sustainable development of a country depends on the continuing increase in the productivity of our land, labour and capital.

OUR OBJECTIVE
1. As “Make in India” & “ Make in Assam” gains momentum, the region abundant with its unique and vast natural resources and youths with worldwide exposure, cannot afford to trail behind in growth due to lack of technological up gradation
2. To utilize the knowledge of Geologists, Petroleum Geologists, Civil Engineers as well as experts from different fields of Geology from prestigious universities and Industries of Assam has come forward to join hands together for developed N. E India.
3. We aim to services spans all disciplines of Geology & Mining, Engineering projects & construction, Health, Safety & Environment, Business Consulting, Performance Enhancement, Material Management & Logistics, etc. In addition, Geobass will set its offices in the different regions of Assam in the stages for having an easy access with the different problems related to the scope of Geobass.
4. This vision is inspired by the concept of “Make in Assam” which is our guiding force for this mission, with the launch of project Hydrocarbon 2030 by Govt. of India, the region is all set to witness a paradigm shift from the issue brain drain to the state of self sufficiency.
Our team strongly accepts the initiation of GEOBASS is on right time, when petroleum ministry released the “Hydrocarbon vision 2030 for North East India, which also envisaged developing region “as a dominant hub at the forefront of India’s energy map by utilization its hydrocarbon potential.
