Since 1995 we have been conducting the employability skill training such as Personality Development, Etiquette, Time Management , Problem Solving Skill ,Team Building ,Effective communication, Leadership capacity Customer care, Mentoring skill, Conflict resolution for youth community especially the job seekers. To enable youth to acquire skills for employment and self employment: To conduct and organize training conference lectures, seminars symposia and the same for stimulating thought in scientific cultural and environment solutions.
AMALA UNIVERSAL RESTORATIVE TRUST was formed and registered with the trust act and conducted so manifold activities for the sake of youth in Viruthunagar district of Tamilnadu since 2005. AMALA was founded by a group of professional from various domain with an aim to provide social service with their wide knowledge and experience in varied industries and international exposure.
AMALA has brought together a highly respected group of individuals who are well versed in their respective field. Amala could extend excellent consulting service matching the need of student’s community and women empowerment.
Indeed, till date we never get a single penny from others in the form of donations or sponsorship to activate the above said activities. Whenever we approached the government machinery, unfortunately we were redirected and misdirected to work with SHG.But our aim is vary from others that is, we found that the state (Tamilnadu) has recorded the highest number of suicides among teenagers when it comes to specific issue like failure in school examinations, unemployment and passion related depression were among the major reasons. Unemployment not only means the loss of income and benefits, but also the loss of one's identity. In India where many people's work and self-worth are interchangeable—can be an extremely traumatic experience, often leading many to despair and depression. The suicide rate among unemployed men is twice that of men who are working. The jobless, Sometimes describe the loss of a job using terms such as "catastrophic" and "devastating." Hence, We have to stand alone and we can nothing about what the district authority is doing for the sake of youth.
The state nodal officer of the national mental Health Programme Dr. C. Rama Subramanian says suicide is impulsive among younger people. It is a culmination of turmoil. A feeling of insecurity, hopelessness and finally helplessness causes negative perception and tunnelled type of thinking. This kind of a prolonged depression with no emotional support and scope to ventilate often triggers suicidal tendencies. So, younger people are apparently perturbed by the prospect of not achieving desired results, jobs in the near future it leads to high levels of anxiety and stress.
So, Amala keenly concentrates on counselling, training and appointing the student sector in right places and now Amala plans to operate a separate cell for counselling, guiding, training and placing by the name of “What’s next” which deals in the field of education, career, job, and also overseas studies.
