About Deshpande Foundation Agri Initiatives, Siddipet in , Siddipet

Gururaj (Desh) and Jaishree Deshpande have encouraged the use of entrepreneurship and innovation as catalysts for sustainable change in the United States, India and Canada since 1996.

Applying a ‘bottom-up’ approach to build scalable solutions, the Deshpande Foundation India works to create an effective ecosystem where resources are put to use through entrepreneurship, innovation and sustainability.

Deshpande Foundation Agri Initiatives, Siddipet comes under Kakatiya Sandbox region, implements various community development projects like BCI, Farm Pond programe etc. This year we extended our service to 16,000 farmers spread across Siddipet, Karimnagar, Sircilla and Warangal districts. Farmers are trained on various Good Cultivation Practices, IPM methods, Sustainable Agriculture, Decent Works etc.

Team comprises of one Center Incharge, two office staff, four PU managers and 40 Sustainable Agri Promoters(SAPs)
