About Supporting Human Capital Development in Meghalaya in Directorate of Employment & Craftsman Training, 3rd Floor, Groove Site Building, Keating Road, Behind State Central Library, Shillong

With an aim in improving the secondary education and vocational training in Meghalaya, a project funded by the Asian Development Bank (ADB) called “Supporting Human Capital Development in Meghalaya” was initiated by the Government of Meghalaya. Being the first loan of its kind from the Asian Development Bank focusing on boosting education and skills, it is aimed at strengthening the capacity of related State Government Departments, including education and labor, and non-government organizations to ensure project reforms are sustained.The project will upgrade teaching and learning in government-aided secondary and higher secondary schools, improve technical and vocational education and training, and raise awareness about the importance of education in the State.
