Kavitsu is one of the leading manufacturer of Planetary and Helical gear drives required by Sugar industry. We have developed Mill drives required for Sugar as well as cement and steel industry upto 1500 HP and the range will soon be extended to 2000 HP. Crystallizers to suit 1000 MT tank capacity are successfully running in Thailand for past 2 seasons. We are soon extending our range to Worm gear boxes so as to suit certain applications where space is a constraint. Currently in development are Wind turbine gearboxes to suit 1500 KW wind mills as well as marine duty gear drives.

Kavitsu has added a new feather in the cap by introducing an innovative product called as Slew bearing, and is one of the only three companies in India which manufacture it. The applications where such bearings are used is vast, some of them being excavators, tower cranes, defense equipment, mining applications, etc. We have everything inhouse, right from turning, drilling to induction hardening. As of now, we have facilities of manufacturing slew bearings up to 3.2m diameter, and by this year end, we will be able to supply bearings upto 5m diameter. We have a state of the art manufacturing facility, which helps us to maintain world class standards and it helps us to compete against the global manufacturers.
