Akshada lqbal, the brain, started off five years ago with a concept that is all the rage across the world now.
“I started manufacturing handmade soaps, which were processed using the old fashioned cold pressed method, which left the rich nutrients in the oil intact. This process was lost in the mechanical and chemical inundated present times, yet I somehow found kolhus or old fashioned grinders, which extracted cold pressed oil in the traditional manner used over the centuries in India. To this I added steam distilled pure essential oils for fragrance, herbal infusions, and organic whole fruits and vegetable.
Ajitia’s soaps were made by hand, using traditional Indian recipes. She tasted her first success at the stage when the hand-made soaps sold faster than they could he produced. These were a clear indication of the need for natural skin and hair, are products and thus was planted the first seed of Ajitia Essentials.
The next step was to categorize ancient Ayurvedic recipes and method to try and evolve a range of natural skin care and hair care products, which would be the ideal blend of high nutrient levels as well as pure natural treatments for skin care and hair. “In 1992 I founded Ajitia Essentials. Using age-old Ayurvedic formulations, Ajitia Essentials blends them with a modern biochemist’s skills to create products that have their basis in India’s oldest science but are suited for modern times, both in their ease of use, and their exquisite fragrances and textures.

She continues, “No Formost Essential product is ever tested on animals and neither do we use child labour.
