Aims and Objects

The IAEI shall be a public, charitable, educational, literary and scientific society for having its Aims & objects, inter alia, the following:

(a)To establish a network of institutions engaged in Education, Training and Research in India.
(b)To be and act as the apex body of the management profession and to enroll as its members, government departments, corporate bodies, institutions, professional individuals.
(c)To undertake on its own and/or in collaboration with other educational and research institutions, education, training and research for the promotion and development of scientific education.
(d)To organise, hold and conduct meetings, group discussions, lectures, speeches, workshops, clinics, research projects, seminars, conferences, study programmes for the purpose of exchange and dissemination of information and ideas
(e)To collect, analyse, collate, tabulate and circulate data, statistics, information etc., relating to or connected with any discipline.
(f)To ascertain and publish law, rules, practices and procedures relating to matters connected with Education
(g)To exercise professional supervision over the members of the Society and to frame and establish rules for observance in all matters pertaining to professional practice by the members and to establish definite professional standards to assist them in the discharge of their duties.
(h)To accept and receive subscriptions, fees, gifts, donations and grants in cash or kind provided that the conditions, if any, attached thereto are not inconsistent with the objects of the Society; \
(i)To accept a gift, purchase, take on lease, hire, construct and maintain or otherwise acquire any movable or immovable property, rights and privileges on such terms and conditions as may not be inconsistent with the objects of the Society
(j)To contribute to the development of all types of Education in all its aspects and to help establish, maintain and improve standards of education, training, research and examinations.

(k)To undertake, organize and facilitate training and professional development programmes for in-service personnel, teachers and trainers.

(l)To set up and assist the process of accreditation of educational institutes engaged in any kind of Education.

(m)To undertake and provide for the publication of Newsletters, Journals or other forms of written communication and production of audio and / or visual materials for dissemination of ideas and information relating to the work of the Association and development in the field of Management Education.

(n)To cooperate, with other national and international bodies to help the cause of Education.

(o)To take steps for development of literature, case studies, teaching materials, books, etc., relevant to the Indian context.

(p)To promote linkages between the Association and Industry, Business, Government and other organizations.

(q)To strengthen institutional capabilities through faculty development and faculty exchange and to assist in better utilization of institutional infrastructure.

(r)To function as the professional body for the promotion of Education by taking appropriate actions towards influencing and enhancing the quality of management in organizations through improvements in the HRD systems.

(s)To associate and collaborate with regional and International Educational Institutions with a view to furthering the cause of Education and Development world-wide.

(t)To provide scholarships, prizes, medals and/or other awards connected with the examinations held by the IAEI

(a)To undertake any other activities including raising of funds which would further the objects of the Association.

(b)The society shall be a non-profit making organization and its income shall be utilised for promotion of its aims and objectives.
