Swaraj India Industries Limited is a limited company Established in the year 1998. The company’s multi product dairy plant is located at village Nimbhore in Tehsil Phaltan of district Satara in the state of Maharashtra. The plant is situated on 8 acres of land well connected by all weather road. The site is on the side of Pune-Pandharpur Highway. Phaltan is 80km from Pune and nearly 250km from Mumbai.
Swaraj is an HACCP, Halal, EIA, APEDA, FSSAI & IS0 certified company with a strong network of milk procurement through our chilling centers and bulk milk coolers of around 8 lakh lts per day. We manufacture around 35 Mt SMP / WMP along with 25 Mt butter per day in bulk and various consumer packaging’s. & also Manufacturing Milk Pouch 1 lakh ltrs per day & daily 1 lakh ltr milk equivalent milk concentrate supplying to Mother Dairy Delhi through Railway Milk Tanker & Road Milk Tanker. Our brand name is SWARAJ.
The dairy plant was set up with a modest view to support farmers in providing them market for their produce and enhance milk production. Presently, the Company has developed a strong base of about one lakh milk producer farmers spread over six districts of Maharashtra (Satara, Sangli, Solapur, Pune, Ahmednagar & Beed). The farmers are assisted by providing them , training programs, providing veterinary service ,organizing cattle camps in drought conditions, etc. Today, our strength is availability of best quality surplus cow Milk in our milk-shed area.
In the initial years, milk was processed and packed in pouches to sell in the urban areas of Pune Mumbai & Satara district. The response from the farmer producers and the urban consumers encouraged us and the company took strides of growth during last 16 years. Presently, it has Processing capacity of six lakh LPD and milk drying capacity of 35 MT/day.
The company now has set up 156 Bulk cooling Units (BMCU) at over100 locations. Milk procured at B M C us is immediately chilled after its delivery from farmers .This chilled milk is then transported to the main plant in the insulated, stainless steel milk tankers Naturally, milk thus collected is fresh and better in microbial quality.
The company owns a state of the art milk products manufacturing plant at village Nimbhore in Phaltan, District Satara in Maharashtra .The Company has earned recognition as one of the leading manufacturers of dairy products.
