NextVAC is an edtech startup that focuses on giving an enhanced and effective learning experience. In a country like India where we are having an enormous youth population, honing the technical skills of the youth becomes one of the most important objectives.

A recent study has showed up that 95% of computer science engineering graduates are unable to code simple programs. Also several other contemporary news reports have shown that India lacks skilled computer science graduates. The prime reason behind such situations in India is that the way coding is taught in school is not hands on. It is more about teacher teaching theories and students studying just to pass the examinations.

But what if universities had tools that could bring in a new way of teaching that is hands on, tools that could bring in a new way to code and can give real time performance report on the teacher's end.

There are other online platforms like Hackerrank, Hackerearth and Codechef, but they target a global audience of developers and programmers. None of them are exclusively for universities and none of them have a classroom-centric model.

The coding ground of NextVAC brings in a new way of skill development of the students. With the coding ground, students in every class can code and compete in the NextVAC platform under the teacher's guidance. Unlike other competitive programming platform, where students program individually at an international/national level, at NextVAC, every student can be monitored by their teachers and university. Their performance can be measured and tracked by their teachers itself.

Apart from skill development NextVAC is also having several other features like video lecture recording, storing, ranking and rating. Through the facilities lectures of the classes can be recorded and stored in the form of a digital library where the students could rate and rank the best lectures. We are also having the features like skill search where all the university students are connected to each other and they can easily find people with relevant skill set from our skill search facility.

Our platform NextVAC can be used for skill development of students of not-only India but also any other country that thrives to develop the skills of their youth.

We want NextVAC to become a B2B product by collaborating with universities and colleges in and around India. We would be providing the NextVAC platform as a service to them and charge them on a monthly basis.

Initially to increase the user base, we can start with free-plans and give the NextVAC platform for free for a few months. Once we expand within India we can have operations in other places in asia-pacific.
