INDIAN PUBLIC SCHOOL has been established by Muslim Educational Society, keeping in view the above-mentioned philosophy. The school invites pupils from Pre-Nursery (3+ age group) to class VIII with an objective of promotion of excellence in every walk of life. Besides keeping the academic standard high and competitive, the school intends to provide the pupils an atmosphere necessary for all round development of character and to evolve a scientific temper at an early stage.

LOCATION
The school is housed in a beautiful, spacious and safe, double-storey building with modern amenities and safesurroundings. It is situated near OLD MASJID at Samanpura, Raja Bazaar, off Bailey Road, Patna.
SYSTEM OF EDUCATION
The school follows the C.B.S.E. curriculum. Though the medium of instruction is English yet there is an emphasis on achieving high standard in Urdu and Hindi. Besides, a basic course of theology is compulsory for the Muslim pupils.
ADMISSION
Admission to the school will be granted after a written test, followed by an interview in the presence of the parent/guardian. The test paper will be set from CBSE syllabus of the preceding standard for which the admission is sought, comprising Science, Math and languages. For the students of Pre-Nursery/ Nursery/beginners, however, no test/interview is required and admission will be granted on the basis of their age group.

RULES AND REGULATIONS
•Students must attend he daily morning assembly.
•All the students are required to attend the first assembly of
the new session and after vacation.
•Discipline and should be strictly maintained.
•Proper school uniform is a must for entry to the school.
•Books, notebooks, bag, tiffin box, pencil box, etc., must bear
the name of the student.
•Students are not permitted to carry valuable items, electronic
appliances, wristwatches, polythene bags etc., to the school.
•Lending and borrowing of money or other articles is not
permitted.
•Students must keep discipline in the classrooms and as well as
on the school campus.
•In case of emergency, students may be allowed to go back
home but only with their authorised guardians, after
furnishing written application and getting the Principal’s
consent. No phone call in this connection will be entertained.
•Students are required to abide by the rules set by the school.
These rules are, in fact, in the greater interest of the
students fraternity and the sole purpose of the enforcement
of these rules are to make them good human beings and
worthy citizens of the global village.
•Students are not allowed to go out of the school campus
during school hours.
•Students must acquire knowledge and good traits that make a
person perfect. They must not hesitate in asking questions
and inquiring about anything.
MORNING ASSEMBLY
From Monday to Thursday, morning assembly will be conducted in English. On Friday, Urdu will be the medium of conduction and on Saturday, the assembly will be conducted in Hindi. The purpose of this method is to make the pupils well versed not only in English but in their national languages also. The assembly will begin with morning prayer( Surah Al-Fatiha in English and the School Prayer), followed by various activities, which comprise –
