About Jan Kalyan Samiti Bikramganj in House no 7 rajeev nagar road no 1, Patna

Inspired by Nelsan mandela’s philosophy, a group of young & experienced corporate professionals came together in 2009 to set up Jan Kalyan Samiti Bikramganj to work with grassroots initiatives for effecting positive changes in the lives of underprivileged children, their families and communities.
Ngo was started on 26th May 2009 by 7 founding members under Mr Yogendra roy Leadership.
ver the years, Deepalaya has established several projects in the areas of Education (Formal/Non-Formal/Remedial), Women Empowerment (reproductive health, SHG, Micro-finance), Institutional care, Community health, Vocational training and Differently Abled. These projects are operational in Bihar.
We are extending our Presence in different states Jharkhand and orrisa with Further corporate office In New Delhi.
Till date, Jan kalyan samiti has reached out to more than 1,50,000 children, given vocational training to 1000 adults and helped form more than 400 Self Help Groups with 400 women who have together saved Rs 50 lacks with a community revolving fund of Rs 75 lacks.Jan kalyan samiti bikramganj growth, however, has not been a solitary one; the organisation takes the initiative to collaborate with the government and with other agencies to make meaningful intervention in the policy making process of the State.
