Temple of माँ बूढ़ी बच्छवारण is situated at distance of 5 km from town Pandoh Distt. ,Mandi of Himachal Pradesh. temple is dedicated to godess माँ बूढ़ी बच्छवारण one of the seven sisters of Badar area. it is considered that in ancient time seven sisters went to Gaud Desh to take holy bath.all sisters ate a seed of sesame except youngest one who left without any part of seed. Then all sisters gave her some part of seed from their teeth and this way she becomes eldest( at highest place) .The term बूढ़ी or बूढ़ा is used for eldest one in Dev samaj.Here the name माँ बूढ़ी बच्छवारण indicates that she is eldest of all sisters but becomes youngest after giving the part of seed and powers to youngest sister. माँ बूढ़ी बच्छवारण is considered the youngest of all seven sisters.Remaining are MAA BAGLAMUKHI, MAA MEHANI, MAA DHARA NAGAN, MAA SONA SINGHASAN, MAA NISHU PARASHARI, MAA KANDHI GHATASHANI in decreasing order of their place.
